We have a friendly, active School Council committee made up of 4 staff members and 9 parent members who meet twice a Term to administer our school.

​All members are actively involved in a range of different sub-committees supporting our ongoing focus on continuous whole-school improvement.

​

Each School year the School Council Committee endeavour to hold a major fundraising event.

​

In 2022 we held our first Italian-style Fete was an awesome event for our school. 

 

The Planning Team led superbly by Mr McInerney is to be congratulated on the level of planning that was undertaken prior to the day. Mrs Bacon did a power of work behind the scenes and our logistics manager Wayne Stanbrough covered all bases with an outstanding level of support and expertise, ensuring that the fundraiser ran smoothly from start to finish. It truly was a really cohesive team effort with strong, dedicated leadership from all school councillors; great support from our P & C members; a terrific effort from our students and wonderful active support from our staff and parents.

 

There was a positive vibe in our school community! The response from the wider Sunraysia community far exceeded our initial expectations. We have raised $20,000, which was a mighty achievement for our second Fete event.

 

Thanks to our generous valued sponsors and donors who made the day possible. All-in-all it was a great day for our school. Congratulations to everyone who contributed so positively to the success of the day
